Hello, here is my take on challenge No 8 for The Scrappy Sketches  Card Challenge

                                        A touch of spring

                     
                         My take... I handmade a large flower and painted it cream and green and edged it

                                   with a metallic rub, Stamped the petals that looked like a heart.

                          
                               I used a lace doily stamp then built up from there with crochet doily
                                   lace and leaves and flowers

                                            Finally finishing with a wee kiwi, almost hidden on the lace :)  The Scappy Sketches

Here it is almost the end of August.......wish I was going to burble on about my artistic accomplishments, haha ........but no, it seems my family has spent the past couple of months gathering and labouring with most common aliments known to man......

What an exciting weekend.....my daughters 1st ball. Oh the drama, the fun & fabulous outcome!!!
 So instead of some crafty piece to post and comment on, which was my plan for the weekend I have the day after, dress up again for photos in the park....

                                                                     

Here is a piece I made and entered into a challenge a couple of weeks ago.

 My 1st ever challenge, no placing but they did say they hoped to see me enter next month, so that was encouraging.......

If only I could improve on my photo taking!   lol

Good Morning, A great day to be tucked up by the fire and playing on here....

Yesterday I completed my 1st attempt at a tag using all sorts of media, is this mixed media?   :)

Challenging for myself both  with colour and style....It was fun to make and I am pleased with the finish product.
